The Kashmir Peace Forum Netherlands has described the passing of Azad Kashmir President, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, as a significant and irreparable loss for the Kashmir cause. The forum’s president, Raja Zeeshan Khan, Secretary General Raja Farooq Haider, Vice President Raja Qamar Zeeshan, and other officials issued a joint statement expressing their condolences.
They said that Chaudhry had effectively represented Kashmiris on the world stage and highlighted the Kashmir issue. He had visited the Netherlands multiple times, meeting with officials from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Parliamentarians, and Ministers, along with the officers of the Kashmir Peace Forum Netherlands.
The officials stated that the Pakistani and Kashmiri community in the Netherlands is mourning the loss and praying for Chaudhry’s soul to rest in the heavens. They reaffirmed their unwavering support and complete solidarity with the Kashmiri brothers.
During the meeting, discussions focused on interfaith harmony and religious tolerance. The Taliban’s resurgence in Afghanistan has seen the re-emergence of the TTP and the proscribed BLA, known as the Fidayeen-e-Islam. Asif Ali Zardari’s wife, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s mother, and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto’s daughter Asif Ali Zardari’s wife, paid tribute to her mother, saying that her vision has led to the establishment of a network of thousands of women.
