Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has stated that when someone spreads chaos in a country, they should be disallowed and not given any attention. Addressing a gathering of young people in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz said that Pakistan is your mother, and you people have not committed treason against the country. She added that you are the ambassadors of Pakistan, and when it comes to the country, you should be like the founding fathers. The Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has stated that people who claim to be in love with the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) take up violent means, and if 600 people had lost their lives, where are the bodies? She added that the government is focusing on empowering youth by making them skilled and educated, and the Punjab government is taking steps to provide relief and facilities to the people.
Maryam Nawaz stated that in the era of PTI’s leaders, Imran Khan and Shahbaz Gill, the only thing that increased in Punjab was devastation. She added that under the Skills Development Program, 200,000 children were given training, but children who are not skilled are burdened with a heavy price. The Chief Minister of Punjab emphasized that the government is taking steps to empower youth by providing them with opportunities to learn skills. She also stated that the government is working to ensure transparency in the provision of funds through the Pro-Flight Card Scheme and that 50,000 skilled youth will be issued Pro-Flight Cards.
Maryam Nawaz said that the government’s responsibility is to provide relief and facilities to the people, and the government is working to provide opportunities to the youth to move forward. She added that the majority of Pakistan’s population is young and that she does not want children to feel that they are a burden. The MNA of MQM, who was also present at the event, stated that a high-level commission should be set up under the Commission of Inquiry Act 2017 to investigate the incident.
