The permanent committee of the National Assembly’s Religious Affairs Committee has submitted recommendations to the Ministry of Religious Affairs regarding the official expenses of the parliamentary delegation’s visit to the Rauza-e-Rasool (PBUH). According to sources, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will send these recommendations to the Speaker for final approval. The committee has recommended that the parliamentary delegation’s air tickets, food, and other expenses in Madinah Munawarah and Makkah be borne by the National Assembly.
The permanent committee on Religious Affairs of the National Assembly has suggested that the parliamentary delegation attend the Rauza-e-Rasool (PBUH) on official expenses. The committee’s recommendations state that arrangements should be made for the delegation at hotels or government residences, and a protocol officer should be assigned to provide assistance. The recommendations also suggest that the Secretary of the Ministry of Religious Affairs be included as a member of the delegation, along with the Imam of the Parliament House Mosque as a guide.
The committee’s recommendations also state that the Speaker and the Ministry of Religious Affairs should nominate committee members every year in the first week of Muharram, and that at least one member from each parliamentary party should be included in the delegation. The recommendations state that members of the parliamentary committee should be given priority for inclusion in the delegation, and that the parliamentary delegation should visit the Rauza-e-Rasool (PBUH) every year in the second week of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
