The Sindh government’s surrender policy has proven effective in curbing dacoities, says PPP leader Pir Pagaro. While addressing a press conference in Jacobabad, he stated that several dacoits have surrendered and handed themselves over to the authorities. The surrendering dacoits are reportedly encouraging their accomplices to do the same. Pir Pagaro emphasized that resorting to arms in inter-tribal disputes is not an effective solution and will not yield any positive results. He suggested that the parties involved should seek a peaceful resolution through the law.
Meanwhile, the opposition alliance, Tehreek-e-Insaf, has rescheduled its planned protest on February 8, following a meeting with party leaders.
