DERA ISMAIL KHAN – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Dera Ismail Khan has filed a case against the mastermind behind the recent blast in the region. According to the First Information Report (FIR), six people were killed in the explosion, while the investigation team has collected DNA samples and forensic evidence from the site of the attack.
The FIR states that the blast occurred in a guest room during a wedding ceremony. The CTD has identified the mastermind behind the attack as Abdul Rahman, who was raised in an Afghan refugee camp. He received his early education from informal centers and madrasas. The CTD report states that the mastermind was exposed to extremist propaganda at a young age, which led him to carry out a similar attack on the home of peace committee leader, Noor Alam Mohsud, just a day ago.
