Khyber Pakhtunkhwa witnessed a surge in security operations, resulting in the deaths of 13 foreigners believed to be backed by India. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted two separate operations on the basis of intelligence reports, targeting foreign elements in the region.
In the first operation in Bannu, security forces killed eight foreigners, effectively targeting their hideouts. The ISPR stated that during the operation, security forces successfully pinpointed the locations of the foreign elements.
In the second operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district, security forces killed five foreigners. The operation was a part of the ongoing efforts to eliminate foreign elements from the region.
The recent development comes as Pakistan is set to implement its new security plan, which emphasizes the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and economic cooperation. Pakistan has requested the United Nations to review the matter of Kashmir, emphasizing the need for a peaceful resolution under international law.
