Southwest Airlines, a beloved carrier known for its innovative approach, hosted an exclusive inflight “Solarbration” for passengers aboard select flights within the eclipse’s path. Complete with eclipse-themed glasses, napkins, and cosmic cocktails, the airline ensured that passengers had a front-row seat to this extraordinary celestial event.
Among the flights included in the Solarbration were Southwest Flight #1252 from Dallas (Love Field) to Pittsburgh, Southwest Flight #1721 from Austin to Indianapolis, and Southwest Flight #1910 from St. Louis to Houston (Hobby). Two fortunate winners and their guests were treated to an eclipse-themed stay at the Omni Hotel in Austin or Dallas before embarking on their celestial adventure aboard a Southwest Airlines flight within the eclipse path.
