A Monday night football game between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Chargers reportedly led to a knife fight between two San Antonio neighbors.
The fight occurred at 9:30 p.m. at a home near South San Antonio High School and Golden Community Park, according to the San Antonio Express-News. Police said a 52-year-old man went to the door of a 51-year-old man to complain about the high noise level.
The 52-year-old man attacked his neighbor with a knife, the newspaper reported. The man was stabbed in the back and suffered knife wounds in both upper and lower extremities.
At some point during the assault, the 51-year-old grabbed the knife and cut the other man on the forehead and in his upper extremities, according to the report.
San Antonio police told local news outlet KSAT that it is unclear what charges, if any, the men will face.
The Cowboys beat the Chargers, 20-17, in the team’s first Monday night game of the season.
