Another hot day is expected Wednesday across North Texas with excessive heat warnings and heat advisories covering much of our area. Temperatures will continue to climb into the 100s for the remainder of the week, with near-record high temperatures expected this weekend.
Along with the intense heat, the fire danger will remain critical, especially for areas along and west of I-35. The fire danger east of DFW is elevated, but not as severe as areas to the west.
The high heat is likely to continue through all of next week with near-record heat.
