The Frisco Police Department on Tuesday said the actions of one of its officers during a traffic stop over the weekend are under “comprehensive review.”
In a tweet Tuesday, Frisco police said they are “aware” of information on social media related to the traffic stop, adding that the procedures used during the stop “raised concerns.”
When contacted by a reporter, a Frisco police spokesperson did not provide any information about the traffic stop in question.
“My son, nephew, sister-n-law and brother were held at gun point by the Frisco Police Department, while they threatened to kill them numerous times if they made the wrong move. They had the entire interstate blocked with police cars and guns pointed at them,” the post stated.
Attempts Tuesday evening to reach the person who posted on Facebook were not immediately successful.
