Denton police are searching for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run with a motorcyclist last weekend.
Officers responded about 9 p.m. Sunday to a crash on Robinson Road, between Teasley Lane and Barrel Strap Road, after multiple callers reported a motorcycle had driven into the back of an SUV.
The motorcyclist — identified as 19-year-old Brady Martinez — was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Police said Friday that evidence indicated that a third vehicle initially rear-ended the motorcycle and left. That vehicle “likely sustained front-end damage,” police said, and investigators are trying to determine the vehicle’s make and model.
