Wednesday marks the third day of winter weather with temperatures set to stay below freezing and an ice storm warning in effect for parts of North Texas, including Tarrant and Dallas counties. The conditions have made travel difficult and caused school districts, businesses and government buildings to close.
North Texas authorities urge residents to stay at home as much as possible as travel is dangerous today due to road conditions. Some grocery stores closed early Tuesday night, and a handful of businesses that were open Tuesday closed for business Wednesday.
