HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Thousands of residents in the Houston area are without power as severe weather passes through.
According to CenterPoint Energy, about 41,499 customers were reported without power at about 10:23 p.m. Tuesday. Pasadena, Fort Bend County, Bellaire, West University, South Houston and east Harris County were among the areas most impacted.
The company said 24 crews will be assisting customers in Deer Park and Pasadena, starting at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
