Even though a Pacific cold front moved across North Texas on Saturday, temperatures are still running above normal for this time of year. Highs on Sunday will rise into the upper-50s to lower-60s. Our normal high temperature is 56.
A breezy southerly and southwesterly wind will only increase highs to begin the week. Also with this wind direction, mountain cedar pollen will surge into North Texas. Expect temperatures to climb into the mid-70s by Wednesday.
Another Pacific cold front will move across the area, Wednesday night into Thursday morning. This frontal passage will bring a low chance of rain. Highs will fall into upper-50s to mid-60s behind this system.
More mild weather will round out next weekend as highs return to near 70. This relatively mild pattern is thanks to a flood of Pacific air spreading over much of the nation. This type of weather will likely last past the middle of January.
