Scattered showers will continue into Friday, with the heaviest rain expected Friday night into Saturday morning. It will also be quite cool with Friday and Saturday highs only into the mid-50s. The rain will likely linger into the beginning of the weekend before completely leaving late Saturday evening.
Sunday will be the best day of the holiday weekend as it will be dry and milder with sunshine.
Highs will start to rise into the mid-60s to lower-70s, Monday into Tuesday, on the heels of a breezy southerly wind. As a cold front moves into North Texas on Tuesday, there is a chance for thunderstorms.
After our frontal passage, highs will fall back into the 50s with lows into the 30s and 40s.
