DEER PARK, Texas (KTRK) — Drivers, keep an eye on high-water locations on Houston-area roads and other trouble spots like Deer Park.
On Thanksgiving, high water impacted Deer Park drivers as they made their way across the city.
TxDOT reported high water along I-45 north southbound at Greens Road at 4:32 p.m. as well as on US-290 northwest eastbound at I-10.
Remember, if you come across high water, don’t attempt to drive through it. Turn around, don’t drown.
