HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — It was a cold, wet and breezy day but we’ll get a break in that widespread rain Sunday.
We could see a few showers Sunday but it shouldn’t be widespread so you can plan on getting out and about. Temperatures will also be a bit more manageable with highs in the mid 50s.
How bad does the weather look for the rest of the weekend?
We should start to dry out later Saturday. Sunday will be much nicer with mostly cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain. Rain showers will become more numerous overnight Sunday into Monday morning.
Is Monday going to be another wet, cold day?
Absolutely. It’ll be hard to tell the difference between Saturday and Monday. Expect rain off and on throughout the day with temperatures holding steady in the 40s.
What’s the outlook for Thanksgiving?
Right now it’s difficult to nail down the details for Thanksgiving. Another storm system will be pushing through the country, but we’re not sure if will pass through on Wednesday or on Thanksgiving Day. For now we’ve reintroduced a 30% chance of rain and dropped highs into the 60s. We’ll refine the details once we get a better handle on the timing of that storm system.
