At least 26 people were martyred and over 45 injured in a series of missile strikes launched by India on six cities across Pakistan between Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to SAMAA TV, in Muridke, three people lost their lives when an Indian missile struck the Government Health Educational Complex.
Rescue officials identified the victims as Abdul Malik from Khanewal, Mudasir from Kasur, and Akasha from Okara.
Rescue operations at the site have concluded, and no more individuals are believed to be trapped under the rubble.
According to ISPR, India fired more than 20 missiles targeting multiple Pakistani cities in an unprovoked act of aggression.
In a swift and strong retaliation, the Pakistan Army shot down seven Indian drones attempting to breach airspace and destroyed five fighter jets, including three Rafale aircraft.
