HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) — A dog owner was allegedly threatened shortly before his chihuahua was shot and killed in Harris County last week.
According to county records, 21-year-old Codiedale Corado faces charges of aggravated assault related to the incident on August 9.
The records indicate that Corado was walking his pit bull when a man’s chihuahua began barking. Corado is accused of threatening both the dog owner and his chihuahua before returning to his apartment to retrieve a gun. He then pointed the gun at the dog owner and, when the chihuahua barked again and ran down the stairs, Corado allegedly shot and killed the dog.
Corado was arrested the following day, August 10.
