Unnamed Official Involved in Planning Jan 20 Ceremony Says Three CEOs Will Be Seated Together
Billionaire tech moguls Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg are set to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration next week, further underscoring the efforts of these tech giants to strengthen their ties with the incoming president.
According to an unnamed official involved in the planning of the January 20 event, the three men will be seated alongside prominent guests, including Trump’s cabinet nominees.
Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, and the majority owner of X, has become one of Trump’s closest allies, and his attendance at the ceremony comes as no surprise.
Bezos and Zuckerberg have less direct affiliation with Trump, but both have taken steps since the election to align themselves with the president-elect, including meetings at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort.
