Miley Cyrus shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram regarding the Los Angeles wildfires that have spread through residential and commercial areas. Reflecting on her own experience of losing her home in the 2018 fires, she expressed her sympathy for those affected.
Alongside a photo of her destroyed California home, Cyrus wrote, “This is a photo taken of my front porch in 2018 after losing our house in the Woolsey fires.” She described the painful feeling of walking up to her home and being met with ash and rubble instead of the welcoming door she used to see.
She shared her support for those affected by the disaster and posted helpful links, including the Malibu Foundation website, which she helped launch in 2018. Cyrus expressed deep sorrow for the situation, writing, “Los Angeles represents ‘living the dream,’ but the reality today is wreckage and destruction.”
