Two Arrested, Two Injured, and Weapons Recovered
Pakistan’s security forces neutralized nine terrorists in two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in North Waziristan’s Dosalli and Esham areas. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations were conducted on January 11, 2025, following credible intelligence reports.
In the first operation in Dosalli, six terrorists were killed, and two were apprehended. The second operation in Esham resulted in the elimination of three terrorists and injuries to two others.
A significant cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered, confirming the involvement of these terrorists in multiple attacks against security forces and innocent civilians.
“Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area. Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate the menace of terrorism,” stated the ISPR.
Prime Minister and President Laud Troops
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari commended the armed forces for their successful operation. The premier stated that the fight against terrorism will continue until its complete eradication and acknowledged the forces as an “iron wall” defending the nation.
President Zardari emphasized that the entire nation stands united against terrorism and pledged continued efforts to uproot this menace.
