Karachi recorded a temperature of 9 degrees Celsius, according to the Meteorological Office. The weather is expected to remain cold and dry for the next 24 hours.
Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) stated that during the next 24 hours, the minimum temperature in Karachi is likely to range between 7°C and 9°C.
Additionally, the wind speed coming from the northeast is 5 kilometers per hour, and the humidity level in the air is recorded at 63%.
According to PMD, in Quetta, Balochistan, the temperature dropped to minus 7°C, contributing to the cold spell in Karachi.
It is noteworthy that after the recent increase in cold weather, Karachi experienced light drizzle and rain on January 4.
The Meteorological Office indicated that there could be an increase in the intensity of the weather.
Moreover, the minimum temperature recorded in Kalat was minus 10°C, and in Ziarat, it was minus 9°C. In most districts of Balochistan, the weather is expected to remain cold and dry, while severe cold is forecasted for the mountainous regions of the province.
