Earthquake Registers Magnitude of 4.7 on Richter Scale
On Sunday, earthquake tremors were felt in Kalat city and its surrounding areas.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake registered a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, with its depth measured at 18 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface.
The epicenter was located 22 kilometers from Sibi, a city in Balochistan.
Despite the earthquake’s intensity, no reports of casualties or damage to property have been received from the capital or its neighboring regions.
Following the tremors, people came out of their homes in panic and began reciting verses from the Holy Quran. Fortunately, no loss of life or property was reported from any part of the region.
