According to sources, Jindal and his family arrived at the Sharif family’s residence at Jati Umra in Lahore to convey their congratulations. The visit, which was kept low-profile, highlighted the personal rapport between the two families. The Jindal family spent a few hours in Lahore before departing for Mumbai on a special plane.
Sajjan Jindal, a prominent figure in India’s business community, is the chairman of JSW Group, a multinational conglomerate with interests in steel, energy, and infrastructure.
