Benazir Bhutto’s 17th Martyrdom Anniversary Observed with Reverence in Dallas

Dallas, Texas – The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership and community members in Dallas commemorated the 17th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto with a heartfelt event. Held in honor of the late leader’s commitment to democracy and human rights, the ceremony saw participation from prominent figures across various fields, including women and children. Distinguished party leaders and community representatives delivered moving tributes to Benazir Bhutto’s life and legacy. Among those in attendance were prominent figures like Syed Fayyaz Hassan from South Asia Democracy Watch, Imtiaz Pirzada (Senior Vice President PPP USA), Aamir Memon (President PPP Dallas), Aftab Siddiqui from Dallas Peace Center, Sarfraz Abbasi, Faizullah Abbasi, and Iftikhar Khan.
The speakers highlighted Benazir Bhutto’s unparalleled sacrifices for the restoration of democracy, her advocacy for women’s rights, and her vision for a progressive Pakistan. They urged attendees to honor her mission by continuing to work toward establishing a just and democratic society. The event reflected the enduring impact of Benazir Bhutto’s leadership, which continues to inspire people worldwide in their struggle for justice and equality.

The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold the values and principles for which Benazir Bhutto dedicated and ultimately sacrificed her life.
