After nearly a year-long hiatus, diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan have resumed. Pakistan’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mohammad Sadiq, met with senior officials of the Afghan interim government in Kabul. Pakistan emphasized the need for effective action against the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to prevent cross-border terrorism. Additionally, the Pakistani delegation engaged with Afghan traders to enhance bilateral trade.
