Aamir Khan revealed that during the early days of his career, he faced insecurities regarding his height. He explained that these issues generally arise in the beginning but gradually fade away with time.
In a recent conversation, hosted on Zee Music Company’s YouTube channel, Aamir spoke about his 5’5″ height and shared his experiences while promoting his upcoming film Vikram Vedha with Nana Patekar.
“Yes, it used to happen. I was afraid people wouldn’t accept me because of my height. It was a fear I had,” Aamir said. He further explained that in the beginning, such insecurities arise, but later on, one realizes that these things aren’t really that important.
This wasn’t the first time Aamir discussed this topic. In 2012, during the promotion of Talaash, he recalled being called ‘Tango’ (a derogatory term for short height). Over time, Aamir learned that appearance does not define success. “In the beginning, things that bother us don’t matter later. What truly matters is how honestly you work and how your hard work impacts others,” he said.
Last seen in the 2022 film Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir is now gearing up for the sequel to Taare Zameen Par, titled Sita Re Zameen Par.
