PTI Texas Holds Memorial Events in Multiple Cities on Martyrs’ Day

Texas: On the call of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, memorial events were held across various cities in Texas to mark Martyrs’ Day in remembrance of the tragic events of November 26 in Islamabad. PTI leaders, members, and supporters paid tribute to the martyrs and demanded an independent investigation into the incident.
The central memorial gathering in Dallas was organized under the leadership of PTI North America Region Coordinator Nadeem Zaman. The event began with a special prayer for the workers martyred during the Islamabad protest on November 26, led by PTI Dallas Coordinator Lubna Khan.
Addressing the gathering, Nadeem Zaman stated: “We pay tribute to the martyrs of Islamabad and will continue our struggle until justice is served. We want the world to know that securing justice for these oppressed workers is our top priority.”
Dr. Hani, former PTI Coordinator from Louisiana, emphasized the need for unity within PTI ranks, noting that the party’s dedicated workers responded to the call for Martyrs’ Day with full devotion. PTI Dallas Core Committee member Dr. Sarfaraz Khan stressed the importance of establishing a system in Pakistan where the rule of law and public will are respected.
Noman Khan highlighted the critical role of overseas Pakistanis in supporting Pakistan’s progress, while Dr. Irfan urged the community to continue backing PTI’s struggle. Dr. Qasim Mumtaz added:
“In these challenging times, PTI remains the only political force that raises its voice for the rights of overseas Pakistanis. We must stay united.”
Fort Worth Memorial Gathering:
A separate memorial event was held at Qazi Latif’s residence in Fort Worth, where Qazi Latif, Shoaib Khan, and Hafiz Umar Farooq addressed the gathering. They condemned the tragic incident in Islamabad and demanded that the missing PTI workers be recovered and detainees be released immediately.The speakers reiterated Imran Khan’s demand for a judicial commission led by three senior judges of the Supreme Court to investigate the tragedy. They also called for the review of CCTV footage, the immediate release of detained workers, and the dismissal of false cases against PTI members.
The memorial gatherings began with Quran recitation, followed by prayers. PTI leaders, workers, and members of the Pakistani community actively participated, pledging to continue their struggle for justice and unity.
