Pakistan marked the tenth anniversary of the tragic Army Public School (APS) Peshawar attack on December 16, 2014. On this occasion, the country’s key leaders reaffirmed their commitment to eliminating terrorism, emphasizing that Pakistan will not bow to terrorism under any circumstances.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and other political and military leaders described the incident as one of the darkest days in Pakistan’s history and condemned it strongly. They emphasized that the tragedy had united the nation in the fight against terrorism and that the ultimate goal was to ensure peace and stability across the country.
The leaders reaffirmed their resolve to ensure that no terrorist network will succeed in Pakistan and pledged to continue working together, both the government and the people, to eradicate terrorism from the country.
