Bangladesh’s renowned all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been suspended by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) for illegal bowling action. Shakib’s bowling action was found to be suspect during a match for Surrey in September. An independent test revealed more than 15 degrees of elbow extension in his bowling action. If Shakib wants, he can have his action re-examined and have the suspension lifted.
