Dil Dil Pakistan Panel Secures Landslide Victory in Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH) Electi

Houston: The oldest organization of the Pakistani-American community, Pakistan Association of Greater Houston (PAGH), achieved a remarkable victory in its recent elections, with the Dil Dil Pakistan Panel emerging victorious. Siraj Narsi was elected as the new President with 908 votes, while Aamir Zaidi secured the position of General Secretary with 919 votes.
According to the election results announced by Election Committee Chairman Rashid Khokhar, Asim Raza was elected as Chairperson of the Education Committee with 850 votes, while Khurram Zai secured 980 votes to become the Chairperson of the Information Committee. Despite cold weather and rain, 1,299 voters cast their ballots, though the harsh weather conditions impacted voter turnout.
Speaking to the media after his decisive victory, Newly-elected President Siraj Narsi stated:
“Our top priority will be to uplift Pakistan’s name and reputation through the platform of the Pakistan Association and to focus on resolving the issues faced by the Pakistani-American community. We will work tirelessly to promote unity and development within the community.”
Following the announcement of the election results, supporters of the winning candidates celebrated outside the Pakistan Center Houston, congratulating one another and distributing sweets.
In Houston, home to a large Pakistani-American population, the successful electoral activities of the Pakistan Association of Greater Houston have further strengthened the community’s unity and organizational stability.
