Islamabad: Javed Badar, ex-media coordinator for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has issued a public apology to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif for false allegations made during his tenure with the party. In an open letter, Badar cited personal reflection and a fear of divine accountability as motivations for his apology.
He admitted to participating in propaganda against Nawaz Sharif and blamed PTI for misleading youth and causing divisions in Pakistan’s politics.
Badar attributed his departure from PTI to alleged corruption and undue influence within the party, particularly involving Bushra Bibi. He praised Nawaz Sharif’s leadership for fostering stability and improving diplomatic ties.
Accepting full responsibility for his past actions, Badar expressed a desire to meet Nawaz Sharif personally to apologize and emphasized the need for accountability in Pakistan’s politics.
