On the occasion of the United Arab Emirates’ 53rd National Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif sent his heartfelt congratulations to the leadership and citizens of the UAE. In a message shared on social media, the Prime Minister praised the UAE’s remarkable growth and development, attributing its success to the visionary leadership of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
He emphasized that the UAE’s success continues under the leadership of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who have carried forward the country’s legacy of innovation and progress. The Prime Minister also highlighted the strong, fraternal ties between Pakistan and the UAE, expressing a commitment to further strengthening these ties into a robust economic partnership.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also congratulated the UAE, recognizing its National Day as a symbol of stability and prosperity. He stressed that the UAE’s consistent support for Pakistan, especially during challenging times, reinforces the enduring friendship between the two nations.
The UAE National Day, observed annually on December 2, commemorates the unification of the seven emirates in 1971. It symbolizes the UAE’s transformation into a global hub for innovation and trade, while the ties with Pakistan continue to grow, especially through trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
