Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan extended his greetings and solidarity to the Pakistani nation and workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), commending their courage in standing up for their rights. He praised the peaceful protests against the “mafia” ruling the country and their unwavering demand for “real freedom.”
In his message, Khan encouraged his team to “fight till the last ball,” vowing that PTI will not back down until their demands are met. He condemned caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s alleged instructions that led to violent police and Rangers’ action, including firing and shelling on peaceful protesters, resulting in casualties. He demanded accountability for those responsible.
Khan also appreciated the overseas Pakistanis for their mobilization efforts, financial contributions, and protests abroad in solidarity with PTI’s mission. He lauded social media warriors for highlighting the ongoing oppression and the party’s demands worldwide.
Addressing threats of a military court trial, Khan remained defiant, urging supporters to stay steadfast: “Do whatever you want; I will not step back from my stance.” He called on those yet to join the movement to head to D-Chowk and support the cause.
