KARACHI: Police said that on Monday, a dumper truck struck and killed a motorcyclist in North Karachi.
They claimed that enraged individuals set the dumper on fire following the accident.
Sufiyan Hafeez, 18, was the victim, according to Central SSP Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqi, who said the dumper hit his motorcycle near Saima Blessing, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Bilal Colony police station.
He was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital with serious injuries, where doctors immediately declared him dead.
The SSP added that the errant driver, Fazal Wali Khan, was taken into custody.
