This week, a member of BTS who is also J-Hope’s partner claimed the top spot on the chart.
According to Forbes, J-Hope’s solo single returned to the Billboard charts on Sunday, October 27, but he was unable to reclaim the coveted first position.
On the Street, his solo version, was close to topping the World Digital Song Sales chart with a strong second place finish, but he was ultimately stopped by fellow BTS star Jin.
Super Tuna, a brand-new single from Jin, went straight to the top, with J Hope’s track coming back right next to it.
Despite the impressive comeback, J-Hope will have to wait for another chance to reach the top of the chart because his song almost became the World Digital Song Sales leader for the seventh time in his career. For the present, it stays one of his 20 top 10 hits.
In addition, J-Hope now has ample time to concentrate on his solo projects after completing his mandatory military service, and he will soon release hits like Jin in tandem.
Since his discharge on June 12, prior to J-Hope’s, Jin has worked tirelessly to release his previously promised projects for the BTS ARMY.
