Pakistan City Karachi: Police said on Wednesday that a seven-year-old boy died in a stabbing in Karachi’s Orangi Town while his mother and sister were being treated in a hospital.
“A house in Orangi Town near Liaqat School contained two injured children and a woman. They had been wounded with a sharp instrument,” an assertion from the Orangi Town Police headquarters said.
It went on to say that the victims were rushed to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where the injured boy, Subhan, aged 7, died.
According to the police, his 5-year-old sister Aleeza and 35-year-old mother Rimsha were receiving treatment at the hospital at the same time.
The statement said that a new investigation was going on.
A fundamental examination proposed that the episode appeared to be an indication of individual ill will and a direct relation was engaged with the occurrence, as per an assertion gave by the Locale West Police.
The statement went on to say that “important information has been provided to the police on behalf of the victim’s family,” and that “the accused himself reportedly called and informed about the incident.”
It also stated that a team has been put together by Senior Superintendent of Police West Tariq Elahi Mastoi to arrest the suspect.
“Steps are being taken to capture the suspect, and more data and proof are being acquired with respect to the episode.
“The representative administrator of Police Orangi alongside the tasks and examinations group and the crime location unit (CSU) are available at the site of the episode,” the assertion said.
The episode comes only days after four female individuals from a family were found killed in their Lea Market condo in the extremely early times of Saturday morning.
The city was overcome with fear and panic as soon as the news of the murder spread. Nonetheless, before dinnertime, the police professed to have settled the case by capturing a direct relation of the family for the fourfold manslaughter.
Dawn was informed by City SSP Arif Aziz that the flat on the seventh floor of Zainab Arcade, Bantwa Street, within the jurisdiction of the Baghdadi police station, contained four bodies with slit throats.
