usic maker Sean “Diddy” Brushes has been hit with seven new sexual maltreatment claims, including another charge that he tranquilized and attacked a 13-year-old at an all-nighter for the 2000 MTV Video Music Grants.
The offended party said Brushes and an anonymous male big name vaginally assaulted her while an anonymous female superstar looked on, after Brushes declared “You are prepared to party!”
Another informer said he was a 17-year-old hopeful craftsman making casual chitchat with Brushes at a 2022 party in a Manhattan lodging penthouse, with Brushes guaranteeing him that “he could make him a star.”
He said Brushes tranquilized him with a beverage and later attacked him, including by getting his privates, in a room where others participated in bunch sex.
The accusers’ attorney, Tony Buzbee, stated on Facebook that the civil lawsuits were made public on Sunday and Monday by four men and three women over alleged misconduct in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas dating back to 2000, primarily in 2022.
According to some lawsuits, Combs’ accusers were also assaulted by unidentified celebrities.
Because of the claims, Brushes’ legal counselors alluded to an assertion tending to Buzbee’s previous claims.
According to the lawyers, “Mr. Combs and his legal team have complete confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process.” In court, reality will win: that Mr. Combs has never abused a man or woman, adult or child, sexually.
According to Buzbee’s firm, it represents over 150 of Combs’ accusers.
Gag order In the meantime, Combs’ attorneys requested a gag order against the accusers and their attorneys from the judge in charge of the music mogul’s criminal sex trafficking case.
At least two dozen civil lawsuits against Combs, 54, allege that he engaged in sexual misconduct, including 13 brought by Buzbee’s company.
He has claimed innocence. In addition to pleading not guilty in the criminal case, the founder of the Bad Boy record label is appealing his current five-week detention in a Brooklyn jail known for its poor living conditions after being twice denied bail.
The new claims compound the legitimate issues for Brushes, who as per examiners constrained casualties into partaking in sex acts despite their desire to the contrary, paying off and threatening them into staying silent, and utilizing his staff to conceal everything.
John Doe or Jane Doe were the pseudonyms used by all seven plaintiffs. Five filed lawsuits in Manhattan, two in New York state court and one in federal court.
Combs faces a criminal trial on May 5, 2025, for character assassination on three felony counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution.
The gag request demand from Marc Agnifilo, Brushes’ essential legal counselor, looks to impede potential government witnesses and their legal advisors from offering expressions that considerably disrupt Brushes’ more right than wrong to a fair preliminary.
Agnifilo protested various articulations “pointed toward killing Mr Brushes’ personality in the press,” including misleading claims of sexual maltreatment of youngsters. He asked the judge to direct the witnesses and lawyers to remove any online statements that were under their control and to tell the prosecutors whether they had authorized such statements.
US Region Judge Arun Subramanian, who supervises the lawbreaker case, requested examiners to answer by October 30. A representative for US Lawyer Damian Williams in Manhattan, whose office is indicting Brushes, declined to remark.
Five different judges were given the five new civil lawsuits filed with the federal government. Two of the plaintiffs were required to provide written reasons for their anonymity.
