As early voting is scheduled to begin on Monday and the November elections are just over two weeks away, an investigation into the malfunction of some voting machines in Dallas County is underway. However, Attorney General Ken Paxton stated on social media late on Saturday that his office “has been working around the clock to uphold the integrity of Texas elections.”
Paxton wrote on X around 9:45 p.m. that the AG’s office has been working with the Secretary of State’s office to look into “limited failed tests of voting machines in Dallas County.” “It is with a heavy heart we report these grave matters to you,” West wrote. We again approach the Secretary of State, Principal legal officer, and Dallas Region Decisions Manager to comply to the Political race Code classifications, soundly uphold Texas political race regulations, utilize the power they have been conceded by the Governing body to safeguard Dallas District electors, and cause to be made a valid review trail so citizens can really trust the proclaimed political race results.”
