Ghulamullah Kayani, a spokesperson for BoAJK, issued a press release stating that during this time, the bank’s total assets reached an all-time high of Rs51.279 billion, the highest level it has ever achieved in its 18-year history.
In a similar vein, remittances and deposits both increased to Rs3.308 billion, marking the largest increase since the bank’s establishment in 2006 through an Act of the Assembly.
Mr. Kayani said that during the same time frame, the bank gave out loans worth Rs4.646 billion and that the quality of the lending services also got better.
He asserted that specialized programs were implemented to support women’s empowerment through targeted financial assistance, improve healthcare, and promote tourism.
“Our bank upholds different occasions and drives pointed toward supporting and advancing nearby ability in various fields,” he said.
He expressed optimism that BoAJK was on track to achieve even greater success and rank among the nation’s most successful banks.
He informed the audience that Jameel Ahmed, the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), had expressed support for BoAJK’s efforts to obtain scheduled bank status and praised the bank’s performance.
