The demonstration, which was led by Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai and the party’s secretary general, Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, attracted a large number of coal miners, supporters, and party employees.
Carrying placards, banners, and party flags, the protesters marched through various Duki streets while yelling slogans decrying the attack on the miners.
At the rally, Nawab Jogezai lamented the difficulties faced by the Pashtun community, noting that Pashtuns are still fighting for the fundamental necessities of life, such as safety and survival, despite the fact that most of the world is focused on ensuring prosperity and a future for their children.
He featured the perilous circumstances looked by coal excavators, underlining that the absence of wellbeing measures and specialist securities makes coal mining perhaps of the most risky calling in the country. In addition, despite the presence of security personnel, he expressed concern about widespread extortion in the vegetable and fruit orchards of Sanjavi and the surrounding areas.
“Individuals, who offer more than 75% of their financial plan to protection, are as yet compelled to pay security expenses per ton for coal,” he said, reprimanding the ongoing security arrangements in the district.
