KARACHI: A Challenge Fund for the digitalization and adoption of technology by small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) has been established by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
The central bank said it has been taking steps to help banks make it easier for small and medium-sized businesses to get loans.
As per a round gave on Saturday, asset will uphold creative answers for SME banking.
As a grant, this fund will assist banks in developing cutting-edge technological solutions to meet the banking requirements of the SME sector.
The government and central bank have repeatedly announced their support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), which are regarded as the economic foundation and require assistance for widespread development.
