ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) was ordered on Thursday by the Islamabad High Court (IHC) not to finalize the list of applicants for admission to medical and dental schools.
The PMDC’s registrar was instructed to personally appear on the next petition hearing date.
After students who took the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) on September 22 claimed that there were approximately 30 incorrect or out-of-syllabus questions, Justice Arbab Mohammad Tahir issued the directive.
Advocate Adil Aziz Qazi, who was representing the candidates, requested that the admissions process be halted and stated that admissions would be made based on the answers to 30 incorrect questions.
