Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has arrived in Beirut despite ongoing Israeli attacks.
According to Lebanese state media, Araqchi’s plane landed at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, marking the first visit by a high-ranking Iranian official to Lebanon since the martyrdom of Hassan Nasrallah.
Meanwhile, Israeli assaults on Lebanon continue, with Lebanese security sources reporting that Zionist forces attacked Hezbollah-affiliated aid workers in southern Beirut, resulting in injuries to three Hezbollah aid workers.
In a significant airstrike last night, Israel targeted Beirut, claiming to have aimed at Hashim Safi al-Din, the expected leader of Hezbollah. Israel has stated that Safi al-Din was killed in the attack, but Hezbollah has not yet confirmed or denied this claim.
