Awab Alavi, the son of former President Dr. Arif Alavi, stated that the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) closed Alavi Dental Clinic without proper consideration.
In a media interview, Awab Alavi mentioned that his father, Dr. Arif Alavi, has been speaking out recently, including comments on the Supreme Court’s decision.
He explained that initially, the Sindh Health Care Commission attempted to seal the clinic around 4 PM. When the health commission found nothing, the building control authority arrived one and a half to two hours later.
Regarding the petition against sealing the clinic, Awab Alavi stated that one agency found nothing, then another agency got involved, and when that too yielded no results, a fourth agency took over.
Awab further noted that they were not given any notice related to the clinic. If they had received one, they would have responded.
He added that the SBCA sealed the clinic when it was already closed for the day.
