What is a Cross Country Athletics Event?
Cross country athletics is a running event where teams and individual athletes compete in natural terrains such as soil, grass, and wooded areas.
The course for this event typically ranges from 3 to 12 kilometers and may include variations in elevation, flat areas, and occasionally concrete paths and small obstacles.
It is both an individual and team sport, with athletes evaluated based on their individual times and teams scoring points based on their performance.
