Jerusalem: The Israeli military has confirmed conducting airstrikes on Houthi military positions in the Ras Issa and Hodeidah regions of Yemen.
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), the Israeli army stated that fighter jets targeted Houthi rebel positions in the Ras Issa area during an air operation.
The statement also mentioned that power plants and a seaport, used for oil imports, were hit during the strikes.
This comes after Houthi rebels attempted to target Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s plane with a rocket during its landing at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, which was intercepted by Israel’s defense system.
