Tehran: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah referred to them as an “easily catchable fish,” but they have proven to be as tough as steel.
According to Arab media reports, Netanyahu lashed out at Nasrallah, calling him a “great saboteur” and asserting that eliminating him was necessary to restore the balance of power in the region.
Netanyahu further remarked that they have permanently closed the chapter of threats posed by Nasrallah. He indicated that while one goal has been achieved, the mission is far from over, hinting at more actions to come in the near future.
In related news, an Israeli military commander threatened that they would also target Hezbollah’s new leader. He stated that the conflict would continue until the release of hostages and the settlement of Jews.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli military carried out an airstrike that resulted in Nasrallah’s death yesterday. He had been residing in a tunnel that was 50 feet deep.
Following this, Hezbollah appointed Naeem Qasim as its interim leader, with a permanent successor to be announced later.
