According to international news sources, continuous rainfall has persisted for two days, with the capital and several regions receiving a total of 322 millimeters of rain so far.
Life in Nepal is in disarray; schools have been closed for three days, and attendance in offices is almost nonexistent. Trees have been uprooted, billboards have collapsed, and traffic has come to a standstill.
The number of fatalities from landslides and other incidents has reached 125, while 62 individuals are still missing, likely swept away by floodwaters. Search efforts are ongoing.
The meteorological department has warned that the rainfall is expected to continue for the next two to three days, advising citizens to stay away from coastal areas and refrain from leaving their homes unnecessarily.
